The Bellingham Chamber Music Society (BCMS) is a hub of musical and creative activity for the community of local professional musicians and their audiences.

Our classical concert series takes place in the Crystal Ballroom at the Hotel Leo in vibrant downtown Bellingham. Our concerts offer a full chamber music experience including engaging artists, supreme acoustics, elegant surroundings, and a reception with signature BCMS cocktails in one of Bellingham’s oldest Hotels.

Our Between Two worlds jazz/classical crossover concert is held at the Blue Room, also a wonderful downtown venue.

It is our vision to keep the spirit of chamber music alive for the people of Bellingham. We celebrate and present standard works alongside music from living composers and traditionally underrepresented composers.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
