The road to Artist Point (the final section of SR 542) and Highway 20 (starting at Ross Dam Trailhead) are both closed for the season.

Voting for our photo contest will begin November 1 on our Facebook page and the top three photographers will be announced December 2.  

Submissions are always open! If voting is currently happening, upload your photos of Whatcom County to be considered for our next contest round.

Separate from the photo contest, you can also share your photos with us on social! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, tag us at Bellingham Experience or use #BellinghamExperience for a chance to be featured on our page. 📷

To ensure your photo is included in the contest, please be sure to follow these rules:

  • The photo must be of Whatcom County. 
  • It must be a photo you have the rights to or have permission from owner to submit.
  • It must be high-resolution and not a screenshot of an image.
  • Include a location description of where the photo is taken. 
  • Do not add a logo or watermark to the submitted photos.
