The Festival Passport costs $195 and is a $279 value. The Festival Passport allows access to the 34 films in the nine in-person screenings as well as admission to the Opening Night Party and The Director’s Party. The All Films pass is $150 (a $219 value if purchased separately) and grants pass holders access to all films shown at the in-person and online festivals. In addition, Festival Passport and All Films pass holders receive admission to CASCADIA’s “bonus” film, “Woodstock: Now and Then” directed by Honored Guest, Barbara Kopple on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 5:15 p.m. at the Pickford Film Center.
The Virtual All Access pass for the online festival May 11-21, costs $80 (a $96 value) and will give ticket holders access to all 25 films in the online festival.
Tickets for individual films at the in-person festival May 4-7 are $15. Tickets for the individual films for the online festival, May 11-21, are $12. Festival attendees can also purchase individual tickets for the Director’s Party for $35 and the Opening Night Party for $25.
With CASCADIA’s Opening Night Party Pass pass holders will celebrate the kickoff of the 7th annual festival with filmmakers in style at the hip new Penny Farthing Restaurant and Bar in the Chuckanut Distillery, 1311 Cornwall, around the corner from the Pickford Film Center. The party will start at 9 p.m. immediately following the Opening Night Film, “Cinema Sabaya.” Pass holders will walk the red carpet and be photographed with the 2023 festival directors. Party attendees will celebrate with friends and partake of fabulous food and a glass of CBD French 75 for the opening toast. The Opening Night Party Pass is $25.
Tickets are also available for the Directors’ Party on Saturday, May 6 at 8:30 p.m. at The Granary, 1201 N State St. The Directors’ Party is a social highlight of the festival where attendees mix and mingle with the directors while enjoying a special festival charcuterie board and savory and sweet bites and music from DJ Aireekah. Attendees will also be on hand for the presentation of this year’s festival laurels.
Tickets for the Honored Guest events with Oscar-winning director Barbara Kopple are for purchase separately from other offered passes. The $80 all-access pass includes the reception for Kopple at the historic Hotel Leo’s Crystal Ballroom at 5 p.m. with catered appetizers, wine or non-alcoholic beverage, along with the interview with Kopple onstage at the Walton Theatre in the Mount Baker Theatre at 7:30 p.m. followed by the special screening of her new film, “Gumbo Coalition.” General admission to the pre-film interview and film screening only is $25. Both tickets must be purchased through the Mount Baker Theatre.
