Shut down the street and drink a beer with your neighbor, at Stones Throw Fresh Hop Block Party on Saturday, Sept. 21st noon - 8pm. All ages are invited down to the brewery for free live music as we release our annual Fresh Hop IPA and pick hops for our Community Hopped Ale!
The party starts at noon, with the Adrian Clarke-Phil Sottile Duo. The Penny Stinkers will carry us from 2:30-4:30pm, and Lost at Last will round out the night from 5-8pm. Ovn Pizza, Galley2Go, and Street Dogz will be serving delicious food all day long. Any beverage you have will be served in a cup provided by The Cup Project, in our effort to reduce waste.
You’ll get your pick from 10 different Stones Throw Brews, including this year's Fresh Hop IPA, made from Yakima Valley hops from Loza Farms, the only Mexican American hop farm in the US. We will also be serving our flagships such as the Raincountry Liquid Sunshine, Neighborhood IPA, Happy Valley Hazy, and Two-Dollah Porter.
Not only will there be great beer and fantastic food, we’re putting the call out for community hops! Every year, Stones Throw and our friends work to pick neighbor-grown hops for our Community Hopped Ale. We’ll be collecting hops the day before the Block Party (and brewing the day after) so drop off your hops at Stones Throw on Friday, Sept. 20th, or on Saturday, Sept. 21st to be a part of this year's Community Fresh Hop.
As always, Stones Throw Events are free to attend, family (and dog) friendly, come rain or shine.
