In 2023, Whatcom Council of Governments (WCOG), with support from Visit Bellingham | Whatcom County, is updating the SR 542 (Mount Baker Highway) and SR 11 (Chuckanut Drive) Corridor Management Plans (CMPs). It’s been over 20 years since Whatcom County’s CMPs were completed and a lot has changed. To help inform updates, stakeholders and the public are invited to complete a survey.

In addition to input from the multiple governments and government agency stakeholders who own and manage these roadways and adjacent public lands, the CMPs need input from interested individuals, community-based organizations, user groups, and businesses. Some questions include:
