An opportunity to admire more than 200 classic and modified cars and trucks with Mt. Baker in the background will be presented Sunday, June 19 during the eighth-annual Father’s Day Car Show at Whatcom County’s Bellewood Farms & Distillery
Presented from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by Gear Heads of Whatcom County, admission is free for spectators. Red Sky Riders will play “Americana Bluegrass” music from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
“The Father’s Day Car Show is a free family outing that appeals to all ages,” said Eric Abel, president of Bellewood Farms & Distillery.
Dads will smile even more with samples of farm-made apple spirits and the Bellewood Farms cafe and bakery, featuring eight selections of fresh pies to take home, will be open.
Car and truck registration costs $20 at https://bellewoodfarms.com/events. Twenty-six trophies will be presented at 2 p.m. Drawings for more than $2,000 in prizes will be conducted during the show.
Net proceeds will benefit the Bellingham Food Bank, Whatcom Humane Society and Vietnam Veterans of America.
