Bigfoot Adventures in Bellingham Offers Sasquatch Tours

Want to find the hide-and-seek champion of the world? Partner up with Bellingham Washington's newest thrill seekers business The Bigfoot Adventures.

The Bigfoot Adventures, a new adventure tour company with deep roots in Bellingham, are offering locals and visitors a rare opportunity to peer into the world of the Northwest’s most elusive native inhabitants.

Owners Ray Kolean and Joey Sternhagen began treating guests to tours in the deep, forested mountains of Washington State in 2018. This area is unequivocally known as the Bigfoot Capital of North America, with more reported sightings than anywhere else in the world. Historians and curious minds are invited to participate in the effort of finding the creatures and documenting these encounters.

The Bigfoot Adventures guests are taught the basic skills for identification, tracking, Bigfoot communication styles and calls, game trail camera set-up, and the opportunity to cast animal tracks for evidence preservation. The Bigfoot Adventures offers day, evening, and multi-day tours, with departures from strategic locations throughout Washington State. Specific guided trips include education in night-vision and a mountain-top bonfire, with stories including the firsthand retelling of one owner’s face to face encounter with a Bigfoot!

Group discounts are available. To book a trip, purchase a gift certificate or find out more information, visit The Bigfoot Adventure online at www.bigfootisalive.com or email info@thebigfootadventures.com

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
