Northwest Tune-Up is pleased to announce the full musical lineup for its second annual bike, beer, and music festival in Bellingham, Washington, July 14–16, 2023.
The Northwest Tune-Up’s inaugural festival in 2022 brought an unforgettable music lineup to Bellingham’s Waterfront District. For 2023, the festival’s talent director, Hunter Motto, also of Seattle, Washington’s legendary independent music venue, The Crocodile, has raised the bar with another remarkable lineup of 24 artists.
"This year's Tune-Up line-up was supercharged by the outpouring of artist excitement coming out of last year's event. We continue to prioritize music discovery, local and regional favorites and headliners who bring energy and soulfulness to our unique festival grounds,” said Motto.
STRFKR, Galactic featuring Anjelika “Jelly” Joseph, The Crystal Method and The Floozies will headline the festival with dynamic performances late into the night. Local, Bellingham-based bands like Hot Damn Scandal, Smooth Kiwi and Silk Jammies will kick off each afternoon. And a variety of regional and international acts will keep festival-goers dancing well into the evening, with performances from the likes of Snotty Nose Rez Kids, the Juno Award-winning First Nations hip-hop duo from Kitamat, British Columbia; Say Sue Me, a surf rock-inspired band from Busan, South Korea; Moontricks, an electro-folk group in the West Kootenays, British Columbia that blends banjos and big basslines; and Travis Thompson, a young, Seattle-area rapper who made his major-label debut in 2019. Additionally, Bellingham musician and podcaster Robert Sarazin Blake will perform short sets and interview musicians between acts.
