Mount Baker Theatre Announces Its 2024-2025 Season

Mount Baker Theatre’s Executive Director John Purdie unveiled the organization’s 2024-2025 season today showcasing a diverse lineup of shows including six Broadway national tours making a stop in Bellingham to perform on the historic Mount Baker Theatre Main Stage! The season will also include more than 30 national and international tours, making this the largest season in Mount Baker Theatre’s history which further contributes to the theatre’s commitment to delivering exceptional arts and entertainment experiences for the region. Purdie also announced Lean Revisions, a Western Washington training and consulting firm, will be returning as the Main Stage Season Sponsor for the 2024–2025 season.

“We are so thrilled to bring this caliber of live entertainment to our region. MBT’s expanded programming truly has multiple offerings for every taste throughout the year. This level of excellence can only be achieved through our partnerships with the City of Bellingham, companies like Lean Revisions, and so many individual supporters in our community,” said Purdie.

Tied to this season announcement, MBT has launched a newly redesigned website and cutting edge ticketing system. The new website features an improved design, enhanced functionality and a user-friendly interface, making it easy for patrons to explore upcoming events, purchase tickets, and stay informed about what is going on at the theatre.

About Mount Baker Theatre

Mount Baker Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization dedicated to enriching the region’s culture through dynamic performances, arts education, inspiring engagement in the community and stewardship of a national historic treasure. Located in the heart of downtown Bellingham’s Art District, MBT is the largest theatrical venue north of Seattle in Washington State. Built in 1927, MBT is the only survivor of the five original movie palaces built in Whatcom County between 1914 and 1930. The building itself is a beautifully restored architectural treasure, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Since opening day, MBT has been dedicated to showcasing top touring performing arts events, as well as presenting community-driven events and performances, to audiences in the North Puget Sound and the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
