Thrift and Vintage Stores in Bellingham

Throughout Bellingham, quirky shops are tucked away offering hidden treasures to lucky shoppers. These places are filled with inexpensive fashion finds from classic to bohemian, chic home décor, an abundance of shoes, jewelry pieces and everything in between. Grab a coffee and then set out to our local vintage and thrift shops to find your new favorite treasure.

Serendipity Consignment Boutique

This small consignment shop packs a big punch. They carry only women's clothing, and are fairly choosy about what items they accept. You'll find high-quality and gently used items, many with name-brand labels. They also carry accessories like jewelry, shoes, purses, and scarves.

Buffalo Exchange

On State Street stop by Buffalo Exchange, conveniently located next door to Pel’meni, a local favorite that always has a pot of water boiling for their famous Russian dumplings. This hip thrift store buys, sells and trades trendy vintage and gently used clothing and accessories. You can find everything from colorful pantsuits and glitzy jewelry to down jackets and hiking boots.

Worn Again Thrift

You'll find mostly vintage clothing at this thrift shop in downtown Bellingham. They get new items daily, so make sure to keep returning! This is your thrift shop destination for things like Carhartt jackets, funky sweaters, nostalgic graphic tees, and more.

Y's Buys Thrift Boutique

On State Street in downtown Bellingham you'll find Y's Buys Thrift Boutique, formerly Wise Buys Thrift Store.

Filled with stylish clothes for women, proceeds from this thrift store go to the YWCA Bellingham, which is dedicated to "eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all."

Explore the boutique to find new and gently used clothing, jewelry, and shoes. The best part: When you buy something, it helps a woman in need.

Labels Consignment

Labels is one of Bellingham’s favorite women’s consignment store. They have two locations, one on James Street and the other on Northwest Avenue. You'll find everything from jeans and high heels to handbags and scarves.

The Clothes Rack

The Clothes Rack on Yew Street is another wonderful store that specializes in women’s casual, business, and evening wear. This quaint consignment store sells modern and vintage pre-owned clothing and accessories, with most of their items featuring popular name brands such as, Chico’s, Coach and Ann Taylor.

Value Village

Bellingham's Value Village is an enormous store filled with rows and rows of unrivaled deals on everything from family clothing to great finds for your home. Unlike many other vintage and thrift stores in town, Value Village offers much more than just clothes. It also contains an entire back room filled with larger items like furniture and sports equipment. Whether you're looking for books, games, clothes, home goods, or shoes, you can find it here.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
