Fathers Day Car Show Offers Free Family Fun

Approximately 200 classic and modified cars and trucks are expected June 16 for the annual Father’s Day Car Show at Whatcom County’s Bellewood Farms & Distillery.

Presented from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by Gear Heads of Whatcom County, admission is free for spectators. Checo Tohomaso will perform a variety of Motown funk, smooth jazz, soul gospel, rhythm and blues and Hawaiian reggae from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tastings of Bellewood’s Smoke Applewood Bourbon, plus breakfast and lunch at the Ten Mile Café Grill, will be available.

Twenty-four trophies will be presented at 2 p.m. Drawings for more than $2,000 in prizes will be conducted during the show.

Net proceeds will benefit the Bellingham Food Bank, Whatcom Humane Society, Vietnam Veterans of America and Project Santa Claus.
