An evening of cars crashing, engines revving and dirt flying will be offered at the Fall Demo Derby on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Northwest Washington Fair & Event Center in Lynden.
“The Fall Demo Derby attracts fans of all ages because it’s fun and affordable,” said Jim Baron, manager of the Northwest Washington Fair & Event Center. “It’s especially ideal for families because children 10 and younger are admitted free!”
Food trucks and a beer garden open at 5 p.m. The grandstand opens with festival seating at 5:30 p.m. and the Fall Demo Derby, presented by MyTrafficMan.net and Northwest Propane, starts at 6:30 p.m.
Fans can purchase tickets in advance for $14 apiece through the fair’s website, www.nwwafair.com, and at the fair’s Lynden office, 1775 Front St. Tickets also will be available at the gate Sept. 28 for $17 apiece. Free parking will be offered in Lot 5 off Kok Road and Lot 3 off Front Street.
