The road to Artist Point (the final section of SR 542) and Highway 20 (starting at Ross Dam Trailhead) are both closed for the season.

It's About Time Cultural Arts Center Grand Re-Opening

Join us at It's About Time Cultural Art Center for a Grand Re-Opening featuring Re-cycled Art from talented local artists, April 18th and 19th from noon to 6pm.

A fun and interesting show for all ages, with delightful Found Object Sculptures and intriguing Paper Collage Art.

Ferndale’s Mark Seeger transforms used everyday appliances into shiny ‘Bots’. Abandoned metal morphs into Functional Whimsy by Lee Mosley of Lummi Island. Orcas Island’s landfill salvage finds a quirky second life in Ron Glassett’s Assemblages. Found images blend into mystical landscapes in Bellingham artist Alicia Wills’ Collages. And gallery owner Sasch Stephens can turn just about anything into a Sundial.

Find us in historic downtown Ferndale at 2013 Main Street. The show continues April 25 - May 31, Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 4pm. To learn more, see our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ItsAboutTimeCulturalArtCenter

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
