The road to Artist Point (the final section of SR 542) and Highway 20 (starting at Ross Dam Trailhead) are both closed for the season.

Easter at the Farm

A fun spring outing for families, couples and singles of all ages will be offered April 19-20 during Easter at the Farm at Whatcom County’s Bellewood Farms & Distillery.

Photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny – great for sharing with family and friends – will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20.

Egg hunts are scheduled every half-hour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with prize bags at the end for $7 per child. Both days also will include live music by Lynden-based Queen’s Bluegrass from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The public is invited to stroll through Bellewood’s apple orchards for free with a possible bonus that blossoms may appear by then. Tractor train rides through the orchards are available for $5 per person.

The Ten Mile Café will offer its full menu, plus made-from-scratch apple cider donuts. Adults may prefer hard cider, cocktails and local beers in the distillery’s tasting room.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
