The road to Artist Point (the final section of SR 542) and Highway 20 (starting at Ross Dam Trailhead) are both closed for the season.

Sunset Kayak Trip

Paddle into the sunset with Moondance Sea Kayak! The best way to experience a sunset, in our humble opinion, is on the water, at the edge of it all.

Join us for a relaxing evening in our kayaks as we bid farewell to the setting sun. Who knows, we may even get a visit from one of the local harbor seals or otter families that live near by. All trips include guided instruction, tandem sea worthy sea kayaks and all related kayak gear, plus they are great for beginners and experienced paddlers alike!

We are happy to accommodate trip request so please contact us if you would like to set up a date that you do not see on the calendar. All guests will be in stable fiberglass northwest made TANDEM sea kayaks. Weight limit is 250lbs per person.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
