Kayak The Cove Tour

Join us on a half-day guided kayak adventure from Larrabee State Park! Get an excellent introduction to sea kayaking in the San Juans only 20 minutes away from Bellingham. Includes “hands-on” instruction to acquaint new paddlers with safety procedures and equipment.

Our three-hour day has 2+ hours of on-the-water paddling and exploration. If time allows, we stretch our legs on a Nature Conservancy protected island in the bay or a beautiful beach along the way, paddle the cove and explore the intricate geology and wildlife. This is one of our favorite tours to Wildcat Cove that’s good for the whole family!

Schedule: We offer 10am and 2pm half day tours. Custom trips available upon request. All trips include a guided instruction and are great for beginners and experienced paddlers alike! All guests will be in stable fiberglass northwest made TANDEM sea kayaks. Weight limit is 250lbs per person.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
