The road to Artist Point (the final section of SR 542) and Highway 20 (starting at Ross Dam Trailhead) are both closed for the season.

Little Sister

Little Sister is an all women band that plays a mix of Folk, Americana and Bluegrass music. With three part harmony being the specialty of the band, their distinct voices blend into one. Their repertoire includes familiar songs with unique arrangements as well as originals. Instrumentation includes Karen Hansey on upright bass, Karen Davis on fiddle, Janet Jaeger on percussion and Annie Phalen and Barbi Durdle on guitar. While the members of Little Sister have many years of experience between them, they played together for the first time in 2022 at a music retreat and realized that the have something special together. It’s sure to be a night of musical enjoyment.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
