The road to Artist Point (the final section of SR 542) and Highway 20 (starting at Ross Dam Trailhead) are both closed for the season.

Race Week Bellingham

Race Week is a 5-day sailboat racing event that attracts the region's most active sailboat racers! Boats range in size between 24 feet to 52 feet, and race courses will be set up by US Sailing certified race officers in Bellingham Bay. 

Race Week has a history of 4 decades. For nearly 35 years, the event was held on Whidbey Island. In 2000, the event was moved to Anacortes, and in 2025 the event makes its new home in Bellingham!
