(Re)Brilliancy

(Re)Brilliancy: a documentary on bringing joy to healthcare through dance and play. Proudly presented by The Art and Heart of Healthcare and Kaiser Permanente Nurse Scholars Program, this documentary unveils the impact and joy of caring for nurses as they care for others through the arts, dance, play, music, and poetry. Hear directly from front line nurses as they share the impact COVID -19 has had on their mental health and how the arts create courageous and safe spaces for their healing and joy.

Tara Rynders, one of the film's directors and the artist behind this work, will be present at the film screening and will engage in a Q&A directly after the screening. Please join us for this awesome opportunity!

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
