Holiday Festival of Trees!

Holiday Trees Celebration View, Vote, and Get Entered to Win a Stay in the Lighthouse Suite!

Hotel Bellwether turns into a magical holiday wonderland the entire month of December for our 13th Annual Holiday Trees fundraiser event benefitting Skookum Kids! Support this crucial community organization that supports children transitioning into foster care, while enjoying the festive and fun activity of viewing 18 trees creatively decorated by local businesses. Bellwether Bella, Hotel Bellwether’s Canine Concierge, even decorates her own tree!

The event is open to the public and the community is encouraged to view the trees in person OR view all the trees online and virtually vote. Voting starts Saturday, December 7th at 4 pm. Vote for your favorite tree by donating monetarily to Skookum Kids ($10 minimum donation requested) online or in person at the hotel.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
