The road to Artist Point (the final section of SR 542) and Highway 20 (starting at Ross Dam Trailhead) are both closed for the season.

Christmastime at Bellewood Farms

Free Santa photos, carolers and s’mores around the bonfire are being offered during Christmastime at Bellewood. Whatcom County’s Bellewood Farms & Distillery is providing opportunities to take free photos of loved ones with Santa, ideal for cards and social media. Santa will be available at Bellewood Farms from noon-4 p.m. starting Dec. 7 and then each Saturday and Sunday in December leading up to Christmas Day.

“Santa photos are perfect for sharing the joy of the holiday season with family and friends,” said Eric Abel, president of Bellewood Farms & Distillery. Carolers and musicians will perform periodically during store hours from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays in December.

Attendees also may purchase warm cider, adult beverages and s’more kits to enjoy around Bellewood’s bonfires. Freshly cut Firs, Nobles and Frasers from Alpine Meadows Christmas Tree Farm near Deming will be sold starting Dec. 1.

Adults may sample peppermint schnaps and the Bellewood Farms Holiday Cinnamon Vodka.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
