Ian George (with the band) Live at The Blue Room

A live folk-rock (??) concert.. "Weirdly Beautiful" - NPR

Band thesis statement: WE ALLOW A GOOD TIME

Ian George along with his gorgeous band of talented handsome young men (percussion, electric guitar, bass) deliver the sort of concert you’ll likely dance, sway, sing, laugh and maybe even cry (!) to. The live performance is a spontaneous and ferocious ride teeming with whimsicality, clever arrangements - interrupted by triumphant tangents - and outlandish solos grounded by George’s gauzy voice and by the simple strength of a good song. Expect an engaging and dynamic string of gentle and not so gentle folk-rock adventures.

Starts: November 20, 2024

Time: Doors 6 | Show 7 p.m.

Location: The Blue Room
202 E Holly St., Bellingham, WA 98225

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
