SUP, Sea Monsters!

Come show off your costumes to Taylor dock and the boardwalk! Show us your sea witch, water warlock, monster from the deep, or whatever weird costume you can find in your closet! Get featured on CBC's IG and help us carry on this wicked tradition!

This is an open-boating event. $15 - per person to participate with any type of CBC broomstick! $5 - if you BYOB (Bring your own boat...eghm excuse me, broomstick.)

We will have a guide on the water and will paddle out together as a group. Use a CBC paddle board, kayak or rowboat, or bring your own! CBC equipment will be first-come first serve. Aside from parading your wonderful costumes to the world, join us post-paddle for some warm beverages. Plus, we'll be taking plenty of pictures so you all get the social media content you deserve. Just don't forget to tag us!

All experience levels welcome! All ages welcome! **14 and under must be accompanied by a legal guardian*

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
