Scepter Awards

Celebrate the people, places, and organizations that make Bellingham shine! The Scepter Awards honor those who have impacted and improved life in Downtown Bellingham with a community ceremony and party. The Scepter Awards return in 2024 bigger and better than ever with the Wild Buffalo House of Music’s iconic stage.

Our favorite Bellebrities will make appearances and showcase their lip syncing skills, bites and drinks will be available, and we will honor over a dozen award recipients to recognize Most Transformative Space, Behind the Scenes Superheroes, Rising Stars, and more. You’ll want to be in this room next year to kick off the holiday festivities and share in our collective joy and hope for the future.

Ticket sales and raffle tickets go to support us, the Downtown Bellingham Partnership, a 501c3 organization championing the health and vitality of downtown Bellingham through the promotion of commerce, culture, and celebration for over 20 years.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
