Easter Activities in Bellingham and Whatcom County - 2025

It’s finally spring – and the Easter Bunny is on its way! Get out the baskets and get the kids (and yourself) ready for chocolate bunnies. Easter festivities happen throughout Bellingham and Whatcom County including egg hunts, live music, Easter brunches, Easter bunny photos, and more!

Welcome spring to Downtown Bellingham at the Commercial Street 

Join us for our annual Lettered Streets Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 19, for children 5th grade and younger! 

Activities include: Special Hunt Area for Toddlers, Crafts, Games, 18 ft. inflatable double slide, Snacks, Door Prizes from neighborhood businesses for adults. 

The egg hunt starts promptly at 10am at Fouts Park (H Street & Ellsworth). This event is free of charge!

April 19 & 20, 2025

A fun spring outing for families, couples and singles of all ages will be offered April 19-20 during Easter at the Farm at Whatcom County’s Bellewood Farms & Distillery. 

Photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny – great for sharing with family and friends – will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20. 

Egg hunts are scheduled every half-hour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with prize bags at the end for $7 per child. Both days also will include live music by Lynden-based Queen’s Bluegrass from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The public is invited to stroll through Bellewood’s apple orchards for free with a possible bonus that blossoms may appear by then. Tractor train rides through the orchards are available for $5 per person. 

The Ten Mile Café will offer its full menu, plus made-from-scratch apple cider donuts. Adults may prefer hard cider, cocktails and local beers in the distillery’s tasting room.

Crack clues, sip brews, and race through Bellingham on the ultimate scavenger adventure! Grab your friends, throw on your best costumes, and track down the hidden keg! The grand prize is a $200 Kulshan gift card, with additional prizes for the runner-up and best costume. 

It all kicks off at our Sunnyland taproom, come check in by 1:45 and then the first clue drops at 2 PM. The route is bikeable or driveable—pick your preferred way to roll! Once the keg is found, the fun continues! 

Join us at Sunnyland from 5-7 PM for live music, awards, and a well-earned celebration. Teams can have up to four people, sign up now with your team captain information! This is free event.
