Coming August 28! Bellingham City Club Hosts Luncheon Event General Election Candidates Forum 1

Bellingham City Club is proud to present an informative luncheon event titled "General Election Candidates Forum 1" on Wednesday, August 28 at the scenic Bellingham Yacht Club starting at 11:30 AM and ending at 1:30 PM. A catered lunch is provided for attendees paying for a meal and registering in advance. 

Panelists for the event include the top two candidates for the 42nd Legislative District Position 1, Public Utility District Commission Position 2, and State Supreme Court Position 2 by popular vote during Washington’s August 2024 Primary.

Our aim is to help voters better understand who they are voting for and the candidates’ stance on issues and governance.” Jim Britain, Bellingham City Club President.

• Public Utility District Commission Position 2 - Atul Deshmane and Dan Johnson 

• State Supreme Court Position 2 – Sal Mungia and Dave Larson 


Moderator: Jill Bernstein, Bellingham City Club Program Committee Member 

Time/Location: At 12:00 p.m., August 28, the Bellingham City Club will host its next program with lunch in person at the Bellingham Yacht Club, 2625 S Harbor Loop Drive, Bellingham. 

Ticket Information: Tickets are available for purchase until 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Prices are $25 for members, $30 for non-members, $10 for attendees under age 25, and $10 for the program only (includes coffee & cookie). Attendance is limited to 150. 

Registration: Closes at 8:00 PM, Sunday, August 25. Doors open at 11:30 AM. Meal starts at 11:45 AM. Purchase of meal tickets in advance is required; click here to register.
