Continuing with exploring the use of new varietal hops in a basic Chuckanut Lager recipe, this round of Single Hop Lager uses NW Strata hops. By experimenting with US and other hops from around the world Chuckanut gains the understanding of the nuances of each varietal. This rendition in the Series uses the Yakima Valley Strata hop formerly known as X-331 released originally from the OR State Aroma Hop Breeding Program in Corvallis. Single Hop Strata gives this basic crisp Chuckanut lager recipe pops of tropical flavors and aromas of pineapple, citrus and pine! Single Hop Lager Strata is fantastic with spicy foods from southern climates for a cooling and complimentary beverage. Great as a crispy, fruity beer any time of day, enjoy exploring this new Single Hop Lager from Chuckanut.
