May 31, 2020, the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra is proud to be at the forefront of virtual concerts by presenting their second virtual concert with renowned violinist Chee-Yun performing Brahms’ Violin Sonata No. 3 “Adagio,” Bach’s Chaconne, and Méditation from the opera Thaïs by Jules Massenet.
BSO Music Director Yaniv Attar will be interviewing Chee-Yun about the pieces before she performs, and those interviews will be interspersed throughout the program.
Also featured are members of the orchestra performing a special surprise and the unveiling of the 2020-21 concert season, as well as the latest on how the BSO will be providing these events for the public, partnering with community resources and media to keep the music alive.
