Travel Lemming names Bellingham to position #43 on its yearly list of the 50 best travel destinations in the world.
Travel Lemming, a US-based online travel publication read by more than 10 million travelers, today announced its list of the top 50 places to travel in the world for 2025. Bellingham, Washington was named the #43 best place to travel globally.
Today’s announcement is part of the publication’s annual list of 50 best places to travel. The project highlights the world’s best destinations and hidden gems.
The article calls Bellingham “a quirky and youthful city” and says it’s “defined by its youthful culture, historic district, and outdoor escapes.”

The best places to travel list is an annual collaborative project by the publication’s dozens of travel writers and editors. Travel Lemming’s local travel experts each nominate their favorite destinations which are then reviewed and voted on by the publication's editorial board.
