WHATCOM ARTISTS STUDIO TOUR

|

The Whatcom Artist Studio Tour is a unique organization of 50 of Whatcom County's best Juried Artists dedicated to bringing the public into artists’ working studios for a two-weekend self-guided tour and sale, including 4 Group Exhibits in premier local Art Galleries. The Studio Tour offers visitors insight into the creative process, work-life and work environment of area artists, and provides an opportunity for people to experience and purchase original works directly from the makers. Now in our 28th year, we include both emerging and established artists, providing an exciting and compelling variety of artwork. It’s an opportunity to find new sources of inspiration, share and learn.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
